Organica 4 Step Program Outline
Organica's 4 Step Program is a back to basics approach to plant management designed to revitalize soil biology and provide a foundation for healthy turf growth. Organica's "Natural Lawn Program" is designed to reestablish beneficial microbial populations and provide the soil with the necessary components to promote healthy controlled growth and reduce plant stress.
Step 1 - Lawn Booster
Early spring (February - April)
- A "patented biologically enhanced fertilizer" comprised of corn gluten meal, steamed bone meal, sulfate of potash and a select array of beneficial soil bacteria.
- Addresses both soil health and plant nutrition / Simultaneously feeds soil and turf
- The microbial component (beneficial soil bacteria) increases the biological activity in the soil profile and provides a foundation for healthy turf growth
- Corn gluten, bone meal and sulfate of potash provides turf with a natural & organic source of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium
Step 2 - Kelp Booster
Late spring (April - June)
- A natural bio-stimulant comprised of calcium and kelp (Eklonia maxima)
- Kelp portion manufactured utilizing a patented "Cell Burst Process", which ensures maximum retention of the delicate plant growth compounds found in freshly harvested kelp
- A multifunctional formulation, which stimulates plant growth, increases stress tolerance and provides a food source for beneficial soil microorganisms (synergistic with Steps 1,3 & 4)
- Kelp is rich in plant growth compounds, micronutrients, amino acids and vitamins all of which are essentially for healthy plant growth & development (not found in conventional fertilizers)
- Calcium is a secondary nutrient essential for plant growth & development
Step 3 - Microbial Soil Conditioner
Summer (June - August)
- A biologically diverse soil conditioner comprised of calcium and a select array of beneficial soil bacteria, actinomyces and fungi. Microbial Soil Conditioner is Organica's Plant Growth Activator Plus impregnated on a calcium carrier
- Addresses both soil health and plant growth Simultaneously feeds soil and turf
- The microbial component (bacteria, actinomyces, fungi) increases the biological activity in the soil profile and provides a foundation for healthy turf growth
