Garden Gems
Mahoney’s Garden Center in Falmouth is the largest and most diverse garden center on Cape Cod. We offer a huge assortment of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, houseplants, pottery, patio furniture, and gifts, including the largest selection of hydrangeas you’ll find anywhere. We also have everything you need to keep your lawn and garden looking healthy from fertilizers to grass seed. As you enter the greenhouse, you’ll be greeted by a lovely indoor koi pond, be sure to say hello to our swimming friends!

There is plenty of parking, accessible restrooms, and delivery available, including delivery of bulk mulch, loam, and compost.

make sure to explore some of our team’s favorite local spots! Right next door is Bad Martha brewery, a great spot for a drink and good vibes. Spohr Gardens, a 6-acre woodland garden with an enchanting backstory, is open every day and free to the public, showcasing one of the best displays of daffodils in the spring. Woods Hole, about a 10-minute drive from us, offers a ton of nifty little shops and delicious restaurants and is the location of The Knob, a nature walk with breathtaking views and a favorite spot for marriage proposals. Some of our favorite spots in Woods Hole include Shuckers, known for their amazing oysters on the half shell, Pie in the Sky bakery and café, a local favorite for baked goods, Coffee Obsession, with the best coffee and beautiful local artwork, and Water Street Kitchen, offering delicious food with stunning waterfront views.
