Our friend Lauren from Garden Answer, shows how a fall window basket adds rich color and texture right where you enjoy it most. This design uses a sturdy hayrack lined with thick coco fiber to hold moisture and support healthy growth. The planting begins with an Autumn Glow bronze mum for height and warm color. Heuchera ‘Crème Brulee’ sits on each side and brings bronzy foliage with striking undersides. Supertunia Honey fills the front with soft fall tones that blend beautifully with the heuchera.

The mix stays simple, which keeps the colors balanced and the basket tidy. These plants handle cool temperatures well and offer strong seasonal interest.
