Daphne Blue Underworld is the experimental pop project of Boston punk/indie scene veteran Loren Ipsum. Building a unique sonic world of blissed-out guitar pop and ethereal ambient soundscapes, her evocative collection of songs takes the form of an aural daydream bathed in a nostalgic VHS glow. Her instrumental guitar and synthesizer compositions are organic, tactile, and slowly and carefully grown, inspiring the description “audio botany.”
