Beautiful garden center with wonderful house plants!
At first I thought overpriced but discovered it's in line with local costs. Great selection of annual and perennial plants plus big selection of indoor plants. The staff is very helpful.

Indoor plant selection isn't much compared to there big sister store but still great service and selection all year long.
A few days ago my husband and I went to the Osterville location to purchase a couple of shrubs,we needed to replace ones that have had been infected by some type of moth ~ not knowing exactly what we wanted to replace them with one of your employees asked if we needed help, we explained the situation and he was VERY helpful with suggestions ,after looking at a few different options we made our decision to purchase two beautiful azaleas and after explaining about the type of care they needed he proceeded to bring them up to the register waited for the sale to be rung up and then brought them out to our car, great service for sure so a big thank you again to Charlie ** ( he also explained options we could use to try and save the shrubs we needed to replace but advised they were proably too far gone ~ darn moths !! )

Absolutely a stunning and award winning place for sure! You may pay more but their plants are grown in our season therefore they create Stronger plant. All vegetables and flowers are incredibly beautiful and grown strong. I do feel that plants may be a little more but truly you get what you pay for and will not be disappointed. Mahoney's has high quality plants and garden supplies. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you have a dog they are welcomed so long as they are properly restrained and on lead. Prices are on the high side but appropriate as the plants and products are high quality.

I didn’t come to make a purchase. My car broke down on the property and believe me I was treated like I was the most valued customer! Actually I’m still there writing as I wait on my tow truck! Went here to buy a Japanese maple. Staff was so helpful. Explained a LOT about the different be varieties. Also offered different alternatives. Ended up not buying anything, but would have if the right tree for our situation had been in stock. They could have sold us something that wouldn't work, but even said "no that won't do well for the amount of sun you'll get. Highly recommend
