I visit all the local greenhouses. Mahoney's is the best for any plants you would need for outdoor gardening . There orchids are beautiful.

Excellent variety of plants in a reasonably sized nursery.
Really liked the fact that critical information for the plants (e.g. shade/sun, or water needs) is clearly displayed.

We came here for the Easter Egg hunt and ended up finding a lovely wheel barrel for my son! They had a great selection of plants and the flowers smelled amazing! The staff was so lovely, too.
Amazing selection of indoor plants (early march so still out of season for outdoor planting). Staff was super friendly and their resident cat Pete was adorable. I got a gorgeous spider plant that already had 1 spiderette coming in for just 8 bucks. I thought the prices would be really high compared to a place like Home Depot but prices were similar or lower and quality was much better.
Our favorite place to stop by. We’ve enjoyed being greeted by their resident cat manager in the past. The selection of plants and flowers are great. Everything is always so green and healthy, you can tell they take very good care of the plants for sale. Highly recommend.

I like this place. I buy herbs and edible plants, fruit and veggie trees and seeds. I would say it is not pricey. Overall nice place with a large assortment

I was in search of hot peppers plants and I found some here. I will go back again. They have a good selection on plants and the prices are reasonable. The staff is great. Plus you can bring in your dog in as long as they are on a leash and behave. Check with staff first prior to bring your dog in.
I've visited quite a few nurseries in the area looking for different kinds of pots. This Mahoney's has the largest selection and variety of decorative pots, including orchid pots. I love this because I need to find outer pots that fit my inner pots and the fastest way to do this is just to bring in an empty inner pot and try them inside many decorative pots.
They change the selection too, so I usually find something new for my houseplants each time I visit. They also have huge outdoor planters if you need them.
I would not come here to look at a huge variety of Bonsai pots (recommend Bonsai West or New England Bonsai) or nursery pots (recommend Russell's). This Mahoney's has a basic selection of those if you're looking for something simple.
Natalia Mendez, at the Concord store has worked above and beyond to find me the exact plants, sizes, colors and quantities for my business. Her keen eye for unique, beautiful, healthy plants inspires my work. And she does it all with a smile on her face. You are lucky to have her Mahoneys!

After my great experience today, I'm leaving this review in hopes that Mahoney's in Concord & their customers can recognize what a gem they have in Natalia working on the floor. I couldn't locate the specific hanging pot I needed, and after asking for assistance, Natalia not only took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, she went out of her way to find a creative solution when the obvious answer wasn't available in stock. She was friendly, helpful and her assistance saved me from having to go to a big box store or order from the big A. Sometimes it's the small interactions that can make a big difference & this was exactly one of those times. Thank you! (*From a very happy customer with the perfect solution to me hanging pot conundrum 😃)

Amazing store! We have visited on Valentine's Day. What a great store with super friendly people. They even had an adorable cat named Peter Moss who looks just like our cat Enzo. They had a great selection of very healthy plants. I only just discovered Mahoney's but I really appreciate these stores and highly recommend them all.
I had a FANTASTIC experience at Mahoney's Garden Center in CONCORD, MASS. I had a goal to buy indoor house plants, and recognize I am not yet good at keeping plants alive.
Here is why I rate it 5 stars.
(1) HISTORY OF GOOD SERVICE.
Based on a good experience at this very store about 3 years ago (and yes that plant is still alive & thriving, even with my poor skills) I returned on Saturday.
(2) IMMEDIATE HELP FROM AN ENTHUSIASTIC CREW
I went to this Mahoney's with a friend who is excellent with plants, and we walked through the entire enormous greenhouse/garden center to identify what plants I liked, and what we thought may be a fit in terms of size, care, access to light, price, etc. Once we had our "list" I asked for assistance.
First, there was a SUPER FRIENDLY young man, (TJ I believe?) and he IMMEDIATELY was incredibly enthusiastic about plants. With an encouraging tone, he personally guided us through the store and show us his favorites and why he thought I could manage them. As our conversation deepened, he immediately connected me with gardeners there who could better help. Mahoney's is incredibly lucky to have such a welcoming employee as this one.
(3) EXCEPTIONAL ADVICE FROM NATALIA.
We were BLOWN AWAY by the energy, knowledge, competence, patience, and follow-through from NATALIA in the Mahoney's in Concord. She was down to earth, did not rush us, and personally walked us through the store as well. She listened to my needs, looked at a few photos of my room/space and provided creative solutions and helped steer me away from plants that she thought would not thrive in my space, while directing me to others that she felt convinced would look great. I am not kidding. I bought 6 plants, and my friend who was NOT planning to buy a plant, bought one too. That's how awesome Natalia is. I am impressed with her follow-through, personalized service and advice. Natalia was SO AWESOME I had to stop what I was doing to write this review.

This is by far, the most beautiful Mahoney’s location! From the moment I stepped inside, it felt like a magical garden. The greenhouse is so organized and well-stocked, it was easy to navigate and find what I needed, though I would’ve gladly stayed wandering around all day! I also love all the accessories, planters, and decorations— a great place for gifts as well! Looking forward to my next visit! :)

Lovely business, kind and helpful folks.
This place is amazing! Employees are very helpful & knowledgeable and offer great advice. Everyone is super friendly too, we have been bringing our dog since she was a young puppy and she gets cuddles and belly rubs all the time. It what every local business should be like!
