ROSES

Rosa spp.

Roses are a classic that never goes out of style and a well-maintained rose bush can bring years of joy.

Roses should be planted in full sun in well-draining soil. Hybrid Tea and other traditional varieties should be pruned every spring when the Forsythia blooms in New England. Other varieties, such as Knock-Out roses will perform best when left unpruned.
