HOW OUR PLANTING SERVICE WORKS
When you choose Mahoney’s Planting Service, here’s what you can expect:
Schedule Your Planting
- After purchase, our team will call you within 3–5 days to schedule.
- Most plantings are completed within two weeks.
- Plants my be delivered up to 24 hours before installation
Professional Installation
- We dig a properly sized hole based on your plant and site conditions.
- High-quality soil amendments are added.
- Plants are thoroughly watered (using your hose).
- Mulch is placed at the base to retain moisture.
Pricing Made Simple
- Planting cost equals the cost of your plant, with a $150 minimum.
- Example: a $250 tree = $250 planting fee, plus tax and delivery.

Our planting service is proudly completed by MC Landscaping of Winchester, MA, owned and operated by Mike Costello. Mike began working at Mahoney’s Garden Center in 2004 at age 14 and launched his own landscaping business in 2011. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience, Mike and his team are committed to providing the highest quality service.
