Can I order sod for home delivery?
Yes! Mahoney’s offers Direct Ship Sod for customers who need sod delivered straight to their property—perfect for larger lawn installations. You can complete your entire order online. Click here to order Direct Ship Sod.
How it works:
- 1 roll = 10 sq. ft. | 1 pallet = 50 rolls (500 sq. ft.)
- A minimum order of 2 pallets is required for delivery.
- Each pallet includes a $20 refundable pallet deposit, which you can return to any Mahoney’s location for a refund.
- Sod is delivered directly from our grower, SODCO, not from Mahoney’s stores.
- Choose a delivery date that matches your install day. Sod is perishable and cannot be returned if not used in time.
Delivery Timing & Restrictions:
- We currently schedule sod deliveries 72 hours in advance.
- You can reschedule up to 36 hours before your confirmed delivery.
- Delivery is not available to Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, or Peabody, MA.
